MEMORY BEARS
and other customized stuffed animals
Memory bears are a popular way to remember a loved one. They bears are usually made from clothes, blankets, or other cloth materials that remind you of a loved one that has passed, or baby items from when your child was young. They can be made entirely out of clothing items you provide, or mixed with minky fabrics from my collection. Plan to use 2-3 items of clothing per bear. Below are examples of the bear patterns I have to offer.
Memory "bears" can be any animal you choose. I also make many custom animals from materials from my own collection to suit your taste. Please contact me to discuss any custom or memory animals.
KEEP ME KEEPSAKE BEAR
Largest (and heaviest) of the bears, approximate size: 30cm/12”(sitting) 45cm/18” (standing). Floppy arms and legs, large size is perfect for an adult to hug. This is handmade by me, using a Funky Friends Factory pattern.

MELODY MEMORY BEAR
Popular choice for memory bears, has fixed arms and legs and allows for many different pieces of clothing to be incorporated. Approximate size: 31cm (12inches) from table to top of head. This is handmade by me, using a Funky Friends Factory pattern.

CALICO TEDDY BEAR
Calico has a bit of a vintage look, which button jointed arms and legs that can be posed, although he won't be standing on his own without leaning against something. Not recommended for kids who might be playing with it regularly. Approximate size: SITTING 30cm/12" (STANDING 40cm/16")This is handmade by me, using a Funky Friends Factory pattern.

HONEY TEDDY BEAR
Honey is the smallest of the bears, and perfect for littles to cuddle. Honey has floppy arms and legs and only lays on her tummy. Best choice when you only have one piece of clothing for your memory bear. Approximate size: 13"/33cm long. This is handmade by me, using a Funky Friends Factory pattern.
IZZY BEAR
Izzy has a vintage look, and thin, floppy arms and legs. A medium bear, approximate size: 22cm/8½”(sitting) 38cm/15” (standing). This is handmade by me, using a Funky Friends Factory pattern.
URSA BEAR
Ursa Bear is the only bear that stands on all 4 legs and has a more realistic bear look. It does not accommodate many different pieces of clothing. Approximate size: 15 1/2” long (14” without the tail), 7 1/2” tall, and 6” wide. This is handmade by me, using a Fostering Sewing pattern.
